Description

Mukhallat Al Badar by Oudh Al Anfar

A UK Bestseller Since 2009

6ml Perfume Oil | Roll-On + Stick | Alcohol-Free & Wudu-Friendly

£24.99 £14.49 — Save £10.50 on Oudh Shop’s bestselling oud oil

Mukhallat means “blend” in Arabic — and Mukhallat Al Badar is exactly that: a carefully crafted composition of multiple oud and aromatic materials rather than a single-note oil. Developed by Oudh Al Anfar in 2009, it has been one of the most consistently purchased oud oils at Oudh Shop for over 17 years. Not through novelty or trend — through a formula that has stayed the same and kept buyers returning.

The composition opens on strong oud and warm amber together — rich, resinous and immediate. There is no light or citrus introduction; this is an oil that gives you its character from the first application. Rose and dry cedarwood develop through the heart, adding the classic Arabian rose note and a dry, woody structure that prevents the composition from reading as purely sweet. The base is where Mukhallat Al Badar reveals its heritage quality: white musk and Dehn Al Oudh — the purest form of oud oil, distilled directly from aged agarwood resin — create a base of remarkable depth and tenacity. Dehn Al Oudh in the base is not an accent; it is the foundation. It is responsible for the longevity and the progression that keeps this oil developing and deepening on skin for 8 to 12 hours after application.

Mukhallat Al Badar is a concentrated perfume oil — alcohol-free, wudu-friendly, and suitable for wearing at any time including during prayer. The oil is aged rather than freshly blended, which contributes the smooth, rounded quality that distinguishes it from cheaper oil blends that use unaged or synthetic oud materials.

Each 6ml bottle includes a roll-on applicator for pulse points and a stick applicator for the wrists — both in one package, gift-boxed and ready to present without additional wrapping. At £14.49 (reduced from £24.99), this is the most price-accessible entry point to the Oudh Al Anfar range at Oudh Shop.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Dehn Al Oudh in the base — pure agarwood oil, not a synthetic substitute. Most oud oils at this price point use diluted or synthetic oud instead.
  • Alcohol-free and wudu-friendly — contains no ethanol or isopropanol; suitable for wear at any time, including before Salah.
  • 8 to 12 hours of wear — a confirmed, specific longevity figure for the base note progression.
  • Two applicators in one bottle — roll-on for pulse points, stick for targeted application — a combination most competing oud oils don’t offer.
  • 17 years of consistent UK demand — a bestseller since 2009 with an unchanged formula.
  • £14.49 (reduced from £24.99) — a genuine Dehn Al Oudh-bearing oil at one of the most accessible price points in the category.

Cons

  • No reviews yet on this listing — despite the long sales history, this specific product page has not yet accumulated reviews.
  • Bold, traditional oud character — the strong oud-amber opening with no citrus or light top notes may not suit buyers who prefer fresher, more Western-style fragrance profiles.
  • Best suited to cooler seasons and formal occasions — the oud, amber and cedar character is less suited to light, everyday summer wear at full application.
  • Oil format requires a different application habit — buyers new to roll-on or stick perfume oils (as opposed to spray EDPs) may need a short adjustment period to find their preferred amount and placement.
  • Small 6ml volume — concentrated and long-lasting, but a smaller physical quantity than a typical 100ml EDP bottle, even though cost-per-wear is comparable given the format’s potency.

What Makes Mukhallat Al Badar Different

  • Dehn Al Oudh in the Base — The purest form of agarwood oil, distilled directly from aged resin. Most perfume oils at this price use synthetic oud or oud blend diluted in carrier oil. Mukhallat Al Badar carries Dehn Al Oudh as a base ingredient — the quality signal that explains 17 years of consistent demand.
  • Aged for Depth — The formula is aged rather than freshly blended. Aged oud oils develop a rounder, smoother character that fresh-blended oils do not achieve — the difference is perceptible from the first application.
  • Alcohol-Free and Wudu-Friendly — A concentrated perfume oil with no alcohol content. Suitable for wearing at any time, including during prayer and for those who observe wudu. Skin-safe on pulse points.
  • Roll-On + Stick in One Package — Two applicators, one bottle. The roll-on suits pulse points (wrists, neck); the stick suits targeted application on the wrists and behind the ears.
  • Gift-Boxed and Ready to Present — Packaged in a premium gift box requiring no additional wrapping. One of the most gifted products in the Oudh Al Anfar range for Eid, Ramadan and birthdays.
  • Bestselling Since 2009 — The longest-running bestseller in the Oudh Shop oud oil catalogue. 17 years of consistent demand from a formula that has not changed.

Fragrance Profile

Top Notes:

Strong Oud and warm Amber

Heart Notes:

Rose and dry Cedarwood

Base Notes:

White Musk and rich Dehn Al Oudh

How to Apply

Roll-on applicator: Apply 2–3 passes of the roll-on to pulse points — wrists, neck, inner elbow and behind the ears. These warm spots amplify the oil’s projection and help the oud base develop fully. Apply to clean, moisturised skin for maximum longevity.

Stick applicator: Use the stick for more targeted application — directly to the wrist or behind the ear. The stick format is ideal for reapplication during the day and for sharing across skin without cross-contamination.

Allow 10–20 minutes after application for the rose and cedar heart to develop over the oud opening. Mukhallat Al Badar is an oil that reveals itself gradually — the base notes, including the Dehn Al Oudh, become the dominant character after the first hour and sustain for 8 to 12 hours.

Wudu-Friendly Guidance

Mukhallat Al Badar is an alcohol-free concentrated perfume oil — it contains no ethanol or isopropanol and does not invalidate wudu. It can be applied at any time, including before Salah. The oil base is non-najas (ritually pure) and Dehn Al Oudh is a halal fragrance material used traditionally in Muslim prayer contexts.

What Is Mukhallat?

Mukhallat (مخلطات) is Arabic for “blend” — in Arabian perfumery, a mukhallat is a carefully crafted composition of multiple oud and aromatic materials rather than a single-note oil. A well-made mukhallat allows each material to interact and develop with the others, creating a complexity that single-note oils cannot achieve. Unlike Western fragrance, which uses alcohol as a delivery mechanism, a mukhallat is oil-based: concentrated, alcohol-free and applied directly to skin. Mukhallat Al Badar blends oud, amber, rose, cedar, white musk and Dehn Al Oudh into a composition that has been refined and consistent since its formulation in 2009.

What Does Mukhallat Al Badar Smell Like?

Mukhallat Al Badar opens with a rich, resinous combination of oud and warm amber — bold and immediate, with none of the citrus or light top notes typical of Western fragrance. The oud here is full-bodied, aged, and distinctly Arabian in character. Rose and dry cedarwood develop in the heart: the rose is warm and rounded rather than sharp, and the cedar adds a dry, woody structure that grounds the composition. The base is Dehn Al Oudh and white musk — the purest form of agarwood oil settling into a clean, lasting musk that keeps the fragrance present on skin for 8 to 12 hours. The overall impression is a deep, warm, traditional Arabian oud blend — complex without being complicated, and consistently wearable across 17 years of UK customer demand.

What Is Dehn Al Oudh?

Dehn Al Oudh (دهن العود) translates directly as “oud oil” — but in Arabian perfumery, the term specifically refers to pure agarwood oil distilled directly from aged agarwood resin, without carrier oil dilution or synthetic additions. It is the most concentrated and traditionally revered form of oud material, used for centuries in Arabian, Persian and Indian perfumery traditions. In Mukhallat Al Badar, Dehn Al Oudh appears in the base — not as an accent but as the foundational material that gives the blend its depth, tenacity and the characteristic dark warmth that distinguishes a quality mukhallat from a synthetic oud blend. Its presence is the primary reason this formula has sustained consistent demand since 2009.

When to Wear

Mukhallat Al Badar is a formal and cooler-season oil — the oud, amber and cedar character deepens in cool air and is most impressive in autumn and winter. Suits Eid, Ramadan, Jumu’ah, formal occasions, and any setting where a warm, sustained traditional Arabian scent is appropriate. For everyday office or warm-weather wear, apply a single pass to the wrist only.

Who Is Mukhallat Al Badar For?

Mukhallat Al Badar suits:

  • Muslim buyers who observe wudu and need a genuinely alcohol-free fragrance they can wear at any time, including before Salah
  • Those who have been disappointed by synthetic oud oils that fade quickly — the Dehn Al Oudh base sustains the character for 8 to 12 hours
  • Buyers discovering Arabian oud fragrance for the first time who want a traditional mukhallat from a heritage house rather than a modern interpretation
  • Gift buyers looking for a Ramadan, Eid or Jumu’ah fragrance gift that is appropriately priced, gift-boxed, and alcohol-free
  • Buyers who already wear spray EDPs and want to try the oil-based attar format — the dual applicator makes Mukhallat Al Badar the most accessible entry point to roll-on oud at Oudh Shop

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Mukhallat Al Badar smell like?

Mukhallat Al Badar opens with aged oud and warm amber — rich, resinous and immediately Arabian in character. Rose and dry cedarwood develop in the heart, adding warmth and a woody grounding. The base is Dehn Al Oudh and white musk — pure agarwood oil that sustains the fragrance for 8 to 12 hours. The overall character is a deep, warm, traditional Arabian oud blend.

Is Mukhallat Al Badar alcohol-free and wudu-friendly?

Yes. Mukhallat Al Badar is a concentrated perfume oil with no alcohol content. It contains no ethanol or isopropanol and does not invalidate wudu. It can be applied at any time, including before Salah. The oil base is ritually pure and Dehn Al Oudh is a traditional halal fragrance material.

What is the difference between the roll-on and the stick applicators?

Both applicators are included in every 6ml bottle of Mukhallat Al Badar. The roll-on applicator is designed for pulse points — apply 2–3 passes to the wrists, neck and inner elbow. The stick applicator is designed for more targeted, controlled application — directly to the wrist or behind the ear. Both deliver the same concentrated oil; the choice depends on personal preference and the area being fragranced.

What is Dehn Al Oudh?

Dehn Al Oudh (دهن العود) is pure agarwood oil — the highest-quality form of oud material, distilled directly from aged agarwood resin without carrier oil dilution or synthetic additions. In Mukhallat Al Badar, it appears in the base and is responsible for the fragrance’s depth, tenacity and the dark, warm character that develops over hours on skin.

How long does Mukhallat Al Badar last on skin?

Mukhallat Al Badar is formulated for 8 to 12 hours of wear from pulse-point application. The Dehn Al Oudh and white musk base is particularly tenacious — base note traces often remain beyond the initial wear period. Apply to clean, moisturised skin for maximum longevity.

Why has Mukhallat Al Badar been a bestseller since 2009?

Mukhallat Al Badar uses a formula that has not changed since its development — aged oud, warm amber, rose, cedar, white musk and Dehn Al Oudh, blended and matured rather than freshly assembled. The consistency of quality across 17 years, combined with the inclusion of Dehn Al Oudh as a base material at a price point accessible to everyday buyers, is the most likely explanation for sustained long-term demand.

Is Mukhallat Al Badar suitable as a gift?

Yes. Mukhallat Al Badar arrives in a premium gift box — no additional wrapping required. At £14.49 (reduced from £24.99), it presents considerably above its price point. Popular for Eid, Ramadan, Jumu’ah, and birthdays. The dual roll-on + stick format makes it a practical and distinctive gift for anyone who wears Arabian fragrance.

How is a perfume oil different from a spray EDP?

A perfume oil like Mukhallat Al Badar contains no alcohol — the fragrance is delivered in a concentrated oil base applied directly to the skin rather than sprayed. This has several practical differences: perfume oils are wudu-friendly (alcohol-free), they develop more intimately with body warmth over time rather than projecting immediately, and they typically last longer on skin than spray EDPs at equivalent price points. Mukhallat Al Badar is oil-based and applied by roll-on or stick to pulse points.

Returns & Exchange

Simple policy for your peace of mind.

Oudh Shop accepts exchanges and returns within 10 days of receiving your order. To proceed, please provide your original receipt or invoice.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Condition: Products must be unopened, untested, and unused. The packaging (including cellophane) must be in its original, complete condition.
  • Exclusions: Tester fragrances, Attar/oil perfumes or items not factory-wrapped in cellophane are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Defects: Exchanges are permitted if the product has a factory defect (e.g., faulty atomizer or leakage without container damage) or if we shipped the wrong item.
  • Preferences: Exchanges based on personal scent preference are not accepted.
Recommendation: Unsure about a perfume? Please order a tester or sample first to avoid disappointment.

Process & Refunds:

Please email sales@oudhshop.co.uk with evidence of the product’s condition to request a return. If you request an exchange, please allow time for the shipping company to process the return before the new item is dispatched.

Refunds: For approved cancellations, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 15 business days after the returned product is verified to be in pristine condition.
