How to Use

Frequently asked questions

Is this safe to burn indoors?

Yes, Oudh Khawatir Bakhoor is safe to burn indoors when used responsibly. Always ensure the room is well-ventilated, never leave a burning burner unattended, and keep it away from flammable materials, children, and pets. Open a window slightly to allow fresh air circulation and prevent smoke buildup.

What burner do I need?

Oudh Khawatir works with both traditional charcoal burners (mabkhara) and electric bakhoor burners. For charcoal, light the coal fully before placing a small amount of bakhoor on top. For electric burners, simply place a few chips on the heating plate and adjust the temperature to your preference — no flame required.

How do I store bakhoor to keep it fresh?

Store your bakhoor in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the lid tightly sealed between uses to preserve the fragrance oils and extend the shelf life. Avoid storing near strong odours that could affect the scent.

How much bakhoor should I use per session?

A small amount goes a long way — just 1 to 3 chips per session is typically enough to fragrance a medium-sized room. Start with less and add more based on your preference and room size. The 60g pack provides many generous sessions.
